The Pearl River Resort says the first mobile sports betting app in Mississippi will go live this weekend.
Silver Star, Golden Moon, and Bok Homa Casinos will officially launch the app on Saturday, February 2nd. Instead of waiting in lines at Sportsbook, guests will be able to place their bets directly from their phones and other mobile devices. Per gaming regulations, mobile betting is limited to on site at the casino.
The launch of Quick Bet Kiosks will soon follow.
The Pearl River Resort says since opening the Sportsbook five months ago, it has paid out over $8 million in winning bets.
The Resort explains on its website how people can sign up.
(1) Bring your Rewards Club Card AND photo I.D. to the Players Club to sign up for a mobile app account. You must have a valid mobile phone number to receive your temporary PIN. If you are not currently a Pearl River Rewards Club member, signing up is quick, easy, and free!

(2) Download the PRRSPORTS app from your phone or mobile device at www.PRRSPORTS.com.
(3) Open the PRRSPORTS app, enter your temporary PIN, and create your permanent PIN.
(4) Fund your account with cash at Sportsbook or Player Services and start placing your bets! You can deposit or withdraw cash at the Sportsbook during normal operating hours at Golden Moon and Bok Homa Casinos and 24/7 at Player Services.
